About FullHouse WP Theme

FullHouse is a real estate WordPress theme developed by Opal_WP. It is built specifically for property listings, real estate agencies, and agents who need a professional site with listing management built in. The theme integrates tightly with the WP Property plugin and includes pre-built demo content for agencies, individual agents, and rental businesses.

Out of the box you get property search filters, Google Maps integration, listing detail pages, agent profiles, and a mortgage calculator widget. The design is clean and conversion-focused, with clear calls to action on listing pages. FullHouse is compatible with WPBakery Page Builder and includes multiple homepage layouts so you are not locked into one look from day one.

FullHouse is not a general-purpose theme you can configure in an afternoon. It has real estate-specific logic, plugin dependencies, and listing data structures that need someone who has worked with it before. Pros

  • Built specifically for real estate with native property listing support and WP Property integration
  • Multiple pre-built demo layouts covering agencies, rentals, and single agents
  • Includes Google Maps with property markers and radius search out of the box
  • Mortgage calculator widget adds practical value for buyers without extra plugins
  • WPBakery integration allows flexible page layouts without custom coding

Cons

  • Relies heavily on WP Property plugin, which adds complexity and a dependency that is hard to swap later
  • WPBakery shortcodes make content migration to other builders difficult down the line
  • Demo import does not always complete cleanly, often requiring manual page and widget setup
  • Limited styling options in the Customizer for typography and color compared to modern themes
  • Support from Opal_WP can be slow and documentation for advanced configurations is thin

Who is FullHouse for?

Real Estate Sales Agency

FullHouse suits a multi-agent sales office well. The theme supports agent profile pages, property-to-agent assignment, and filterable listing archives by location, price, and property type. It gives buyers a familiar browsing experience and gives agency staff a structured way to manage their active listings inside WordPress.

Vacation Rental Business

Rental businesses can use FullHouse to display seasonal properties with availability details, pricing tiers, and photo galleries. The search filters work for rental-specific criteria like number of bedrooms and location. You will likely need a booking plugin alongside it, but the listing presentation side is handled cleanly by the theme.

Independent Real Estate Agent

A solo agent can use one of the single-agent demo layouts to build a personal brand site fast. Featured listings, a contact form, a bio section, and testimonials are all available without custom development. It looks professional without requiring a large budget, which makes it practical for agents building their own presence outside a brokerage site.

Commercial Property Listings

Commercial real estate listings have different data requirements than residential. FullHouse handles this through custom property fields in WP Property. Floor area, zoning type, lease terms, and building specifications can all be added. Listing pages can be structured around the information commercial buyers and tenants actually need to make decisions.

Property Management Company

Property managers handling rentals across multiple buildings can use FullHouse to list available units, detail amenities, and capture enquiry leads. The search and filter system helps prospective tenants narrow down options quickly. Combining this with a maintenance request form plugin rounds out what the theme can do for an operational property management workflow.

Customizing FullHouse

FullHouse gives you a solid starting point, but most real estate businesses need adjustments that go beyond the theme options panel. Property filter configurations, custom listing fields, map style changes, and IDX feed integrations all require hands-on work inside the theme files or through child theme customization.

A FullHouse expert can set up your agency branding, configure saved search functionality, build custom property types, and make the WPBakery layouts match your exact page structure. If you are running rentals alongside sales, the taxonomy setup alone needs careful planning. Working with someone who knows FullHouse avoids the trial-and-error that wastes time on a live site used by clients and buyers daily.

Recommended plugins for FullHouse

FullHouse works alongside several plugins that extend what a real estate site can do. WP Property handles the core listing data. Gravity Forms or WPForms manage contact and viewing request submissions. WPML adds multilingual support for international agencies. For SEO, structured data for property listings needs manual configuration or a plugin like Yoast combined with custom schema. Site speed matters heavily on listing-heavy sites with maps and image galleries. SEO optimization for individual property pages can drive significant organic traffic if set up correctly from the start.

FullHouse common issues

FullHouse property search not working after update

Search filter breakages in FullHouse usually follow a WP Property plugin update that changes query parameters the theme depends on. Check the WP Property changelog first. If the property attributes used in your search widgets no longer match the plugin’s registered fields, you will need to remap them. Clearing any caching plugin after plugin updates is also essential. If the issue persists after these steps, a developer can audit the search widget configuration and fix any broken field references. See our WordPress bug fixing service for help.

FullHouse Google Maps not showing on listing pages

Missing maps on FullHouse listing pages are almost always caused by an invalid or missing Google Maps API key, or a key that lacks the Maps JavaScript API and Geocoding API permissions enabled in Google Cloud Console. Go to FullHouse theme settings and confirm the API key is entered correctly. Then verify the key has billing enabled in your Google account. If the map loads but markers are missing, the property coordinates in WP Property may not have been saved correctly for those listings.

FullHouse demo import failed or missing content

FullHouse demo imports fail when server memory limits or PHP execution time limits are too low. Set memory_limit to at least 256M and max_execution_time to 300 in your PHP configuration. Try importing through the theme panel again after adjusting these. If the import completes but pages look wrong, the required plugins were likely not activated before importing. Reinstall demos only after activating WP Property and WPBakery, then manually assign menus and widgets in Appearance settings.

FullHouse WPBakery elements not displaying correctly

WPBakery elements breaking in FullHouse usually means there is a version mismatch between the bundled WPBakery copy included with the theme and an auto-updated standalone version. FullHouse bundles a specific WPBakery version, and updating it independently breaks compatibility with Opal_WP’s custom elements. Deactivate the standalone version, use only the bundled copy, and disable automatic updates for WPBakery to prevent the conflict from recurring. Our bug fixing service can sort this if it keeps coming back.

FullHouse FAQ

FullHouse is built around WPBakery Page Builder, not Elementor. The theme’s custom property listing elements and shortcodes are WPBakery-specific. You can install Elementor alongside it, but the real estate components will not be available inside Elementor’s editor. Rebuilding the listing-related pages in Elementor would require custom development work to replicate what the WPBakery modules handle.

FullHouse does not have native IDX or MLS integration. It uses WP Property for manually managed listings. To pull in live MLS data, you would need a third-party IDX plugin like iHomefinder, Showcase IDX, or SimplyRETS. These can run alongside FullHouse, but the IDX listing display will use its own templates rather than the FullHouse listing page design, so some styling work is usually needed.

Technically yes, but the theme loses most of its real estate functionality without WP Property. Property listing archives, single property templates, search filters, and agent-to-listing assignments all depend on WP Property’s custom post types and taxonomies. You could use FullHouse as a general business theme, but you would be paying for real estate features you are not using. It is not the right choice for non-property sites.

Opal_WP continues to sell FullHouse on ThemeForest and does push occasional updates, but the update frequency is lower than it was at launch. Support ticket response times have been reported as slow by buyers. If you need reliable ongoing support and maintenance for a business-critical site, pairing the theme with a dedicated WordPress maintenance plan is worth considering rather than relying solely on theme author support.

Yes, FullHouse sites can be migrated to a new host. The process involves moving the database, files, and updating site URLs. WP Property data migrates with the standard WordPress database, so your property listings carry over cleanly. Using a migration plugin like Migrate Guru or All-in-One WP Migration handles most of the process. If you need help with this, our WordPress migration service covers the full move.
